My name is Heather Allard, and I’m a mother of three kids + one big dog. I teach people how to build a successful online business so they can live their dream life.
I’m the original founder of The Mogul Mom, and spent six years building and growing the site before selling it to Megan Barnes in 2013.
Also included in my entrepreneurial experience:
– Freelance copywriting (my first business)
– Inventing and bringing to market two wearable baby blankets called Swaddleaze and Blankeaze, which I sold to Summer Infant in 2008
– Developing May We Suggest, a premium WordPress plugin
– Creating and selling a mobile apps portfolio
I’ve been interviewed and featured in The New York Times, Working Mother, Fox Business News, ProBlogger, Entrepreneur, Visa Business Network, Daily Worth, Etsy, Simple Mom, American Express OPEN Forum, SheKnows and YellowPages.com, as well as several best-selling books including The $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau, The Digital Mom Handbook, and The Well-Fed Writer: Back for Seconds.
I’m a married mother of three awesome kids + one big rescue dog named James Earl Jones.
I love taking walks, watching birds, and reading business books + magazines. I’m a Gemini, an optimist, and a big thinker. My beverages of choice are green smoothies and red wine, and I adore spicy Thai food and almond butter straight out of the jar with a spoon.
My favorite thing in the whole world is spending time with my husband of twenty years and our three kids, laughing until our cheeks hurt.
