Mogul Mom Spotlight - Lauren Cecora

WHAT’S YOUR NAME?Lauren CecoraCOMPANY NAMEThe Sanity SaverTELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS AND WHY YOU STARTED IT

I'm a postpartum mentor helping mothers heal with maternal mental health issues through 3 main areas: self care, time management, and holistic alternatives.

WHAT DO YOU SELL?

Digital Downloads for printable affirmation cards & household cleaning calendar to maintain order and greatly reduce stress, an online course for balancing life and work, essential oils for holistic management of stress and anxiety, and book (Past-Partum from Shattered to Sane) about my PPD and my first 5 sanity savers I did to start rebuilding my life back together.

WHO IS YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE?Mothers who are severely overwhelmed or suffering with a maternal mental health disorder, that feel as though they just have to suffer through this part of their life and have been unable to get a handle on their mental health even with therapy and prescription drugs.WHAT 3 PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?

1) Publishing my book and having it be so well received. I have 18 amazon reviews singing it's praises- which for being self-publish this is a very high honor
2) Being able to turn a layoff and my Postpartum Depression journey into an avenue to serve women who are currently in the situation I was in. I felt very isolated and alone, like there was no way out of it- I'm living proof there is.
3) Being able to work from home while having my daughter home full time and a husband on nights 90% of the time. I don't pay for daycare or a mother's helper, I'm growing my business while incorporating her into it. I'll work harder when she's in school.
WHAT MAKES YOUR BUSINESS STORY UNIQUE?
Everyone thought I had my life together because I tend to be organized and have a very fluid system, so when I came out to the world that I had been suffering with Postpartum Depression for a year, people were shocked. Because of that, and because of my need to have organization and flow in my life I'm able to really relate to people who are doing too much and neglecting their own personal sanity to help them. I was that person and because I made it out on the other end I can relate so well to struggles of multi levels (giving birth alone, husband working nights, 40+ hour job with a commute, breastfeeding issues, over volunteering, with zero respect for self care or my time)
